AMERSTATE UNIVERSITY TIMELINE


April 2004:Amerstate University was created.
September 2006:Amerstate University was registered and incorporated in the State of Wisconsin.
September 2006:Certificate of Occupancy issued by the City of Racine.
February 2007:English as a Second Language classes began.
May 2007:Martial Arts classes began.
October 2007:Amerstate University received approval from the State of Wisconsin Education Approval Board.
November 2007:Master of Science in Martial Arts Graduate School program classes began.
January 2008:Attendance at ACICS Accreditation Workshop.
May 2008:Applied for AAIEP Accreditation.
October 2008:Submitted I-17 application for I-20 to SEVP-Department of Homeland Security.
January 2009:Approved by the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization. DLN: 17053129028018
February 2009:Approved by the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue CES: 055419
May 2009:Amerstate University conferred upon its first graduating class Master of Science in Martial Arts Degrees.
May 2009:Registered with the State of Illinois Board of Higher Education.
September 2009:New Institution Orientation attended at the State of Illinois Board of Higher Education.
May 2010:Amerstate University conferred upon its second graduating class Master of Science in Martial Arts Degrees.
July 2010:Submitted I-17 application for I-20 to SEVP-Department of Homeland Security.
July 2010:Submitted application for AOS Degree in Martial Arts program to the State of Wisconsin.
September 2010:Amerstate University applied for ACCSC Accreditation.
October 2010:Applied for J-1 Visa Training Program.
November 2010:Amerstate University Board of Directors approved purchase of the building at 401 Wisconsin Avenue; to be under Amerstate University ownership.
June 2011:Amerstate University confers upon its third graduating class Master of Science in Martial Arts Degrees.
